Becoming A Classic
Sweet Stampin’ Challenge 29 is called “Boys and their Toys”. So I thought I’d make a card that features toys that a “big” boy might like!
The inside of this card says: “Don’t think of it as getting older. Think of it as becoming a classic.” What a wonderful way to look at aging!
I like to use embossing folders to add texture to paper and think the two embossing folders used on this card (Cuttlebug Diamond Plate and Spots & Dots) complement the main stamp nicely.
My darling husband is on the road to becoming a classic…his birthday is on Friday. Looks like his card is already made! Yippee!
I would also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp! Challenge – Male Card
For Fun Challenges – Man Card
Caardvarks – Stamping & Embossing
One Stitch At A Time – Boys to Men
Supplies: Paper: Stampin’ Up Garden Green, More Mustard, Night of Navy, White; Cuttlebug Embossing Folders – Diamond Plate, Spots & Dots; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin’ Up Night of Navy; Stamps: Great Impressions F392, D390, Stampin’ Up Flexible Phrases; Copic Markers B24, C-5, R17, R27, YG63; Brads.
Until next time…keep creating!

I love the quote in the card! It’s always a big problem for me to think of what I should give to a boy or male friend. This is an amazing idea! This is Vic5ive from Swap-bot Check Out my blog swap. Cheers, Vicky

What a truly beautiful card. I love the authenticity in the card, and I can see it’s made with genuine kindness. That is why everything homemade is always such joy, crafted with love and care. I am sure any man will appreciate a card like this, filled with compassion and creativity.
